MI shows?

sorry folks still new hope this is not off topic. but does anyone know if there are any knife shows in MI. if there are do you know when. whould like to go and look at what is out there

Too bad, you just missed the Wolverine Knife Collectors Club Spring Show on April 22-24. They have a Fall show in September. Here's a link.

There's the Pontiac show at the Silverdome (January and August, I think), and there's also the Novi show, which I believe was a few weeks ago.

The 'Dome show's a nice one, though it is a combined gun/knife.

so there are some up here. any more and do you see alot of custom knife makers at them or mostly big manufactorers (sorry for poor spelling)

The Silverdome show is all private sellers- no manufacturers. However, if older knives are your game, it's great.

I have only been to this year's April Wolverine show in Novi and it was a lot of dealers, but a fair number of makers, too. Mostly local to Michigan, but a few people from further away. Depending on where you live in MI, you may want to check out the Chicago Custom Knife Show at http://www.chicagocustomknifeshow.com. For me it's a 3 hour drive, so I was stupid to ignore it last year (also didn't help that I didn't have $$$ to spend at the time!) I believe that last year was the first year for it, but lots of big names. The Wolverine show was a good place to see awesome knives and get some good deals.
