I'm in love with Farmer John's Thick Cut Slices right now. I overcooked these three but I still figured I'd see how thick they were:

This was the medium, .140

So I'm wondering how that compares with your bacon, and, is thicker better?

Bacon is good no matter how thick it is. My preference is thin and crispy if I have a choice but I am gonna eat it no matter what.

crispy bacon is tragic. I like mine just barely crispy on the edges... my wife likes hers burned :(

A true bacon lover would have to guesstimate thickness cause any bacon in front of them would be immediately devoured :D :p

Meaty but never chewy is bacon perfection. Thick cut always. Damn, some midnight bacon might happen right about now...

I've had seven pieces today and not much else. There's still three pieces left in the package... I think I might get a 1/2lb. burger and put onion rings and bbq sauce on it, gotta get my other of the four food groups: cheese, fried stuff and bbq sauce. And yes, I'm going to have them put their bacon on it :)

Al dente', or to the tooth bacon is perfection. Like a fine country ham. Barely on the chewy side, but "crispy" is overdone.

Mic your bacon? And here I thought the only thing of importance when it came to bacon was how everyone preferred it cooked. :foot: Personally, I like it lean and slightly crispy. Mmmmmm bacon, and now I'm hungry

My chompers are still pretty messed up, can't chew too well on the right side, but I can chew well enough to eat bacon!

This is the first batch of this type I've tried. Nice and crispy weighing in at .119 of an inch. Pretty good, not as peppery as I was hoping. Bonus points if you can name my side-kick :)

I will eat most everything closer to rare ...except my bacon. THick or thin I like it crispy!

I picked up some bacon for christmas today :D This supply should at least keep me fed a week or two into the new year..
