This was one of the 110's that I got in a package deal awhile ago. It came with a C.O.A. that actually had the buyers name and address on it. I Photoshopped the address out after scanning it. Has anyone ever seen a C.O.A.with that on it, or could it be faked?

I really like this one.

Very nice knife. I think Black Micarta looks good on knives. Wish I had a Black Micarta 110. :(

The Documentation looks real but I'm no expert.

I believe the knife was a special project commissioned by an E-Bay seller called Dust-2-Dollars. They also had a companion piece with rosewood scales, also limited to 50 pieces, offered to buyers of the Micarta version. Some time later, they added a matching Micarta Model 55, also offered 1st to the buyers of record for the 110's. Nice, classic material choices and great fit/finish.

You hit the nail on the head! Here's a quote from the e-mail answer he gave me when I asked where he got it.

"I bought them from dust to dollars on the bay. They sent the certs with the knives. The certs had my name on them. I had 4 of them, 2 rosewood & 2 micarta."

did some one say micarta 110's?
here are some older ones i found

i really like that one you got!
sweeeeeetttt!

Surprises me that Buck would do a run of only 50 for someone. Is that normal? seems like it would be pretty spendy to get them done.

Dave I rechecked and mine is 43/50.

This is an interesting point I think...a run of 50 is very unusual and they went to the trouble of serializing the knife also. I have the mid-90s yellow box with the same number: B110-SP95-0. I'm going to take that to mean its a special project knife from 1995.

Another interesting thing about this knife is the over sized head on the rocker rivet. Can anyone explain that? I've not really seen that many and don't know why it would be different. Any thoughts guys?

The label on my box is identical except for the #32 on the bottom leftside of it. Even the date (10-17-04) is the same.
