Micarta 21's are the best knives on the planet

Small or Large, doesn't matter. For a user, I think the micarta 21's are the best pocket knives money can buy.

I love all CRK's. They all have their greatness in some form or fashion. I really love the inlayed stuff. The damascus blades are incredible. But an S35VN drop point micarta inlayed 21 is my favorite EDC knife of all time. Further, I'd have to say the small is number one, followed by the large. The small micarta 21 fits 99% of (my) carry needs. The large is just as good, but it's not exactly the best when you're in the office. But the for some reason, even though they cost just as much as other inlayed CRK's, I have no problem beating on the micarta ones. If it gets scratched up, who cares? I've had the wood inlayed ones and for some reason the polished flats of the handle bring sadness to me when they get scratched up. The blasted ones? No problem. Beat em to hell. I've never understood why people scotch brite the blasted handles.

I love the new ceramic ball lockups and bushing systems. They are incredible. But the 21 was done right long ago, and is simple. It works. I appreciate that.

Anyway, just had to get that out there. Not sure how y'all feel. But for me it's the micarta 21's I'll never get rid of.

I prefer the small micarta insingo or a large plain Jane drop point, but that's just me. They're all great!

Honestly for the large knives I prefer the Inkosi. The small I prefer the small 21. For some reason the Large inkosi is not smaller than the large 21, however the small 21 is larger than the small inkosi.

I just got my large 21 on monday and compared it and found that out.

Speaking of inlayed CRK's, to me, the inlayed 21's look WAY better than inlayed Inkosi's/25's. Just another reason the 21 is the best, for me.

I would love it if they would make a brown micarta inlayed 21 with gold double thumbstud and backspacer.

Tell us how you really feel :)
The micarta inlays may be one of my favorites also.... you just gotta have a pic with a thread like this one that's bragging on the micarta ;)

Ha Wow! You even have a lefty in there haha! Very nice!

I recently got me a large inkosi and love it to death. Handled a 25 about 6 months ago and didnt like it but the inkosi was super smooth even better than all my 21's but i got a used one and previous owner dialed in the pivot perfectly. I of course with any CRK that i get disassemble and clean it up for my satisfaction.

I disagree-It's the Classic MM micarta inlay that is the best :) :)
Actually they are all great small, large, Classic MM or 21 and though I have not had one yet I am certain the Insingo is also

I agree. My Small Micarta Insingo is great. I havent bought another knife since I got it.

P.S. Get double lugs on that bad boy and see your love grow.

Ford, Chevy.... S&W , Colt....... 21/Reg/Classic/25/Inkosi/UM ... Love them all ... Little Minanadi and Ufaan too.....

I've bought a fair number of knives since I picked this up, but after the honeymoon period ends with the new jack, nine times out of then this one goes back in my pocket. There's just something about the way it feels in the hand, and for my money, the insingo blade profile is near perfect for most of my EDC needs.

It's a keeper.

Adam

Really getting jealous of all the Micarta insingo being posted. I think I could live with just two knives, a small Micarta 21, and a small/large Micarta 21 insingo. Can't make up my mind if I want a large 21 or not.

Millit clip just came for my Micarta:

Retention wise, there's no matching the CRK clip, the Millit clip wasn't even making contact with the lock bar and had to adjust it. But I like the looks of it even tho it doesn't match the inlay coloring/pattern. It's something different which is what I was looking for.

Give it a little time use and it'll match perfectly.
