Soooo I got me some micarta and broke out the Alan key to get them on, this was the result...

So I thought hmm well it made mince meat of that, lets try the ultratough performance screwdriver set I spared no expense on at "the" mart for $4

Chewed that up too !

Finally thought of something that was tough enough to get the job done ! (Yes I did think of tradewaters toenail clippings but I didn't feel right asking for any )

Trusty LM charge TTi did the trick!

Pay for what you get I suppose, now I have to find a TTi screwdriver set to handle the Becker toughness!

Did you have any loc tite on the screws? I've never seen anything like that so I'm thinking loc tite red maybe.

Try pushing down really hard while turning if its that stuck. It should help you stripping another bit. If not get a soldering iron and touch the bolt end where the nut is a few times to heat it up which should hopefully break the bonds of anything that may be stuck inside the threads.

Rust, I bet.

You should take better care of your knives.

:D

Lmao, kiddin'. Micarta has the ability to grab screw threads and bind them. All of my micarta actually threads with the bolt when ya crank 'em down.

When the kids were working on their bicycles the one said to the other "Righty tighty lefty loosey"
post up some pics of the handle

That just looks like a cheap allen wrench that rounded the corners, couldn't handle all the awesome that is contained in the knife :D

Pick yourself up a Bondhus set, I have a few sets that I have used for 10+ years now.

LOL @ rust I just got the beast about 1 week ago ! and I'm for sure going to pick up a bondhus set cold,

Sweet, here's a pic
