I have seen forum posts showing custom sellers of Spydercos with Micarta/G10 scales.

I contacted these folks and they responded with a statement that they only sell the entire knife, not a piece of a knife like custom scales.

I have also seen people with custom micarta for various knives. Where could those be purchased?

Also, I have an Endura and a Stretch. I tried to remove the torx screws recently. One screw on each knife stripped! It happened with the lock bar pivot screw. What can I do to get that screw out (cause I want to put custom scales on) and does Spyderco sell or send out replacement hardware?

Thanks!

Can't control how craftspeople market the items they make. If you really like their work, you could always buy a completed knife from them and sell yours, or perhaps inquire as to whether they'd be interested in purchasing yours as part of the deal.

As for the screws, you can either drill the head out, then remove the body of the screw with pliers once the knife is apart. For replacement screws, your best bet would be to contact Spyderco directly.

Spyderco has sent screws & clips for my paramili, they are very good about parts, no hassles.

Using quality torx drivers that fit properly will prevent stripped screws. Many times, people use the incorrect size thinking it fits, and just strip it out.
