I just got my brown paper Micatra slabs in from Saint Cultery. Gotta say, I'm pretty happy with them! Nice fit and finish and came with new hardware. I slapped them on my BK2 and was happy like a fat kid with cake! Now I think I need to strip the blade down to match the sexy new handles...

Also picked up an Eskabar. I was not prepared for how wickedly sharp the thing was right out of the box! I have a nice bare spot on my arm to show for it too!

Enough talk. Knife Porn!

Nice scales. My arm hair is growing back from my 14. :D

Are those scales a one off, or does Saint Cutlery sell those, they are local there in AZ?

They look good, and I bet they feel good.

how grippy is the paper micarta - did they finish it slick or leave it at 120 grit?
and I've never heard of Saint Cutlery - do they have a website?

Hows the fit and finish on them? It kind of looks like from the photos that the slabs don't meet up right.

Pretty grippy! I havent seen these scales anywhere but ebay. I did a google search for them without results also, but i've seen the scales on ebay ever since learned about becker knives.
The seller had outstanding feedback so I felt pretty good about ordering from them. I've seen them mostly offered in black, but prefered the brown.

They are grippier than the grivory, but I dont know about the kabar micarta. I've never handled those before.
I suppose 12o grit is a pretty good comparison.

Yeah, it looks a litte bit off. 2nd picture, right where you would put your trigger finger while holding the knife. Nice stuff anyways, really dig the color of that micarta!

Great pics of some sweet grips. I like the grivory myself, but those are pure hotness.

Well I checked the knife and it looks like I was so excited to install the slabs I didnt quite line up the scales. There is a little overlap on the top of that scale hence the bit of exposed tang near the trigger finger.
I loosened and re-aligned the scales to correct. What can I say, beckers get me excited!
