Micarta is the best

Great looking knives, and thanks for the pics:thumbup:

I do think they are the best looking, but second best overall to the large plain Regular.

My Classic's.
I don't care for matte screws/pins on other Sebenza's, but I think they look good on the Micarta's.
The small one has been carried since this pic.

This is a great collection/example of the different looks of micarta. I personally like the look/sheen of the small inlays, with the 25 next.
 
Great looking knives. I love my Micarta as well.
I like to see the "rag" on your tanto.
Can't quite get into the 25's inlay design.
 
Awesome pics. I have yet to own a CRK micarta. Hope to get one eventually. In your pics, I noticed how the micarta finish has changed over the years. Lots of nice history there. Thanks for sharing.

Btw.....how do you like the micarta 25.....?

The 25 and Tanto are new to me but the small 21 was the first knife I bought. So that one has darkened a little but was also dark to begin with.

I didn't like my plain large Sebenza 21 but do like the 25 w/micarta. Maybe I just like the inlayed knives. I'm more of a small knife guy and the tanto *newest to me* has been in my pocket the most as of late. The tanto might even become my favorite Sebenza. Need to put the tanto to more cutting tasks though. I do take the 25 when I want a bigger knife and I can't fault anything about the 25 yet. I haven't taken it apart to see how easily that goes.
 
I love the micarta, especially on the insingo! I need to see the 25 with micarta in person first
 
I think it looks much better in person than the pictures suggest. I, too was bashing it when the pics surfaced here on the forum. We thought it was a joke.

But it was not a joke. Ask my bank account. :eek:
 
Just ordered me a large 21 with micarta inlays. My first large Sebenza. looks like I made the right choice.
 
One of my favorite CRK's- Micarta versions.
 
Can't go wrong with it, really. Looks great, fills the hand a slight but noticeable amount, too.

Nothing wrong with a plain at all, but for the above reasons I slightly prefer the micarta. Cannot find fault with any of them, really. That's why some of us love them, right?
