Well, since I can't find a small micarta Insingo anywhere I'm thinking of getting either a small micarta 21 or a small diamond plate 21. This will be my first CRK and it will be a user. The practical side of me says the micarta will offer better grip and take finish wear a little better. But the diamond plate just looks so cool. FWIW, I edc a Vic Alox Electrician so I'm used to smaller knives. I pondered the large Insingo but I can't really go that route because of laws and my job (HVAC tech). I tried an 3.5" XM-18 for awhile and it freaked out a few customers. What say you experts?

Micarta sebenza's make excellent edc knives. PM incoming on small micarta insingos in stock

Thanks PH! Small Insingo ordered. I'll leave this thread open since I'd like to hear opinions anyway. If I like this one I'm sure there will be more in my future.

Did you go with the small Insingo micarta?

Everyone who has one seems to love it, and if I ever go with a small Sebby (have a large Insingo micarta and it is great) that is the one I would go with as well.

Yep, hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week.

a diamond plate, I have 2 and love both
it's also rare to find as it's no longer made
get the micarta later

Got my small micarta Insingo today. I'm glad I went with the micarta. It seems to add just the right amount of extra thickness and texture.

My thoughts exactly. I think without the inlays it would be a bit on the skinny side for my hands.

Small with inlays is what I consider the best all round EDC ever period

Gotta love the diamond plate. Rexromic I think of you when ever I drop this in my pocket. Hope you don't miss it to much :)
