I'm looking for someone to add Micarta or G10 handles to a Trail Master and a Recon Scout. Does anyone have any recommendations? I know of a place that does it but they are ridiculously overpriced. Anyone else have this done to your Cold Steel knives?

I would like something similar to the 'Flight of the Intruder" Trail Master handle from years back. Thanks for any info.

Been looking for a craftsman to rehandle my old Carbon V TM with Black G10, no one yet that can do it for under $200.

UC, I found a guy who does this work, but it's likely the same person you mention since it looked like a re-handle would cost as much as the blade (at least as much). There is a gent in England who did a beautiful re-handle on a CS Gurkha. I'm sure I'm not supposed to mention his name as I imagine he's not a "Provider" on BF. Look around for custom Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri handle work and see if you find it. We intereacted with him on another forum and he seemed happy to do whatever work was desired and IIRC quoted me a very reasonable price (though I never had the work done as the original handle works well enough for me). Of course, shipping across the pond seems to run about $20-$30 US each way. I imagine he could more easily perform a knife re-handle than the Gurkha job. I like that he followed the lines of the original handle, as opposed to "Westernizing" it more like the guy in the US showed on his site. Here's a pic of a CS Gurkha the chap in England did.

Sun rise customs does a rehandling. Will cost you 145 for labor plus what ever materials you choose.
