I’d have to go find the post but someone in the past year or so asked about the coating on the micarta and how it was darker fresh from the factory. Garth chimed in and mentioned the blades were treaded with lubricant prior to their departure and suggested hit them with WD40 if you would like for you older micarta to look newer.what does wd40 do to micarta?
My thoughts exactly. I really can’t even see the issue. If it’s the lighter colored area, that just looks like freshly sanded micarta. It’ll darken and blend in.Use it hard...you'll forget about that.
