Just received these today from Tomar's. I was going to put the stainless steel Phillips head in but I decided they did not look right. I'll go this week to get the stainless steel cap screws to replace the stock ones. I like the feel of these things, makes the knife feel solid. Not sure yet if I'm going to coat them with mineral oil, boiled linseed oil or something along those lines.

Nice, the BK7 is a damn sweet knife...

it also looks better with the black bolts, well until you strip it then change them....

I think it looks good just the way it is! Delivery confo tells me my BK7 will be here on Thursday. Also inbound is a BK2 & BK9 gonna be a good week for me!:D:D

Very knife. I always like the looks of a 7 with Micarta. It just screams "Use me, Abuse me, but don't put me on the shelf"

Nicer shots Herger.

You Swedish?

1sharpknife2 that is a great week and Moose I'm of Dutch decent.

I thought so. Herger ain't a Cherokee name, that's for sure. Good name though. Nordic Warrior.

Had to cancel my bk7 through knifecenter, was taking weeks to get there with no end in sight. I'll probably be placing it through Tomars. Looks sweet with the micarta, don't know if I'm going to go custom micarta or wood grips yet.

I'm really liking the micarta grips....might have to get them for my bk2, bk7 and/or crewman!

The Micarta is just fine by itself and doesn't need a sealer. It's loaded with resin and cloth. nothing will soak in past the first layer (where the fibers are exposed) if the micarta was done right. unless your doing it to change the look, and then disregard my post.
