Micarta scales issue on 11

Has anyone had an issue with their micarta scales for an 11 not fit tightly? I ordered online and it seems there is a bit of play. If you have had this happen, what was your resolve?

Indeed.
This same thing happened when I purchased my set.
I sat the scales down on some sandpaper and sanded the flat insides.
Didn't take much. Now their nice and snug.

I just received my BK11 scales. There isn't any play in them, but I can see a small gap between the scales and spine of the handle. I may try the sandpaper thing too.

Bought two set of scales a few years ago,on both set the handles would extend a 1/16" outside the handle.On one set both in the finger cutouts and other one side the finger area and the other the spine. Haven't sent these in for warranty. Really don't know hat to say for quality control but I can tell you,of the two sets of regulars on my BK2 and 9,they are perfect.

Mine also came a little off... but as mentioned above, with 10min of hand sanding they were perfect! For me that's the joy of it all! making it my own and working on it just a little bit to make it perfect for me!
