Pardon my ignorance, but where can I buy the tan micarta handles for my BK9 with the checkered pattern, like in this pic? Thanks!

Those are the Camillus micarta grips. They were a little thinner in the swell than the Kabar Mics, but they are pretty cool. You can find them on Eghey, for not alot of money. They are interesting, to say the least. Bladite, did I forget anything?

 Thanks Moose! I checked the bay, but couldn't find those particular handles. I'm dying to get my hands on a set!

sounds about right. they're very smooth and polished in feel almost like the original black grips. perhaps a little slimmer in grip (which some people liked). good stuff. the new models from KaBar are more rounded/swelled, and have a rougher texture for a more aggressive grip.

the Camillus grips are getting harder to find. i think Guyon bought them all :)

the KaBar grips are readily available. i'm hoping they release COLORS soon.

The Camillus scales look to flat. If that is the case, I'd prefer the Ka-Bar grips. I have them on a BK-2, and they are quite nice, and nicely shaped. Agressive, however.
