micarta - source?

hello - can someone recommend an online source to provide small amounts of 1/8" or 3/16" slabs green linen micarta? I don't want to buy a whole lot, just fooling around at this point. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks FF

As to Sheffields and micarta, They sell a generic phenolic sheet instead of real westinghouse micarta. I can only speak for the black paper variety, but I was not at all impressed with the performance or finishing characteristics. Compared to the real stuff, it discolored very easily from grinding heat, didn't take a very smooth finish from buffing, and seems to want to bleach out in use if you put it in the dishwasher.

The other varieties may be wonderfull though.
