Hey guys. Where are you getting this yellowish/orange colored Micarta?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check on flea bay under phenolic there is quite a bit of different sizes cheap that you will just have to cut up.

That is just "Natural Canvas" Micarta. I get mine at Pop's knife supply. Best prices around.

After doing some research on the internet, I believe that is natural micarta. Pop's doesn't have natural. the only place that I have been able to find it is Alpha, and I don't really know if it is the right color because the way they list it is name only, no pictures of the product. So if I order it from them, there is no way to know if I'm getting the color I want.

I can say with 100% certainty Dan's knife is handled with natural canvas micarta. This is based on my experience of cutting literally 1,000 of pounds of the material.

When you look at Dan's knife you can see the outside layer of the handle is a little darker than the rounded edges and sides. This is because natural micarta changes color. When first cut it is a light tan to yellow. As it ages the color turns to brown to redish brown.

Some posters recommended Jim at Pops Knife Supplies as a supplier. I highly recommend him. It is not listed on his website but he may have it in stock. You should call and ask him.

I know Pop has it because I buy it from him all the time. It's listed as tan canvas on his site but I promise it is what you are looking for. Both Pop and Chuck are great guys to deal with so I would use which ever is closer. They are both about the same distance from me so I use both depending on what I'm ordering.
