You guys may have seen this one before. I bought this one from a fellow forumite and CKCA member. Connor's knives are special to me since I grew up near him and he was gracious enough to help me out when I was learning how to make knives. He was also my instructor at the basic bladesmithing school in Arkansas. Coop did a great job capturing the image of this dagger.

Jimmy,

That is a great looking Michael Connor Dagger. I agree that Coop's photo shows it off very well.

One of the early, under appreciated MS.

Really nice work for its time period.

I have seen it before, but happy to see it again - congrats on a very fine piece.

I've heard for years Mike's work is second to none . The photo obviously shows why -

That is a very nice knife.I have heard that M.Connor was very meticulous in his work. That he would even make sure that his tang was very well finished out, even though it would get covered by the handle. His fit and finish was supposed to be among the very best.Congratulations on acquiring a knife made by a fine mastersmith.
Is that a tip and throat sheath with wood lining. His tip and throat sheath with wood lining was supposed to be among the better ones made in that genre.

This might be one of two MC knives I've ever handled. It's every bit as clean as the photo suggests.

Jimmy sent me three great knives, each one outstanding. This one tops the charts.

Thanks for this opportunity!

Coop
