Here is a recent Persian-esque knife from Michael Craddock. Tapered frame handle construction, simple twist Damascus blade, Damascus frame and bolster, and mammoth ivory scales.

Your opinions and comments are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

Nice taper on the frame. Did Mike forge the blade steel? I didnt think he did turkish twist.

Thanks for looking at this one.
Yes I do all my own Damascus and this is just a simple twist pattern.

I like it! A very appealing knife! The ivory is super and I like the size of the finger guard in relation to the knife.

Very nice.

Very nice. Really like the size and the pieces all fit together so well. Would love to feel it in hand.
A beauty.

I like it. Great mammoth and the "tapered" cased handle is really a nice touch.
As nice as it is, I feel it would benefit from a slightly larger blade.
