ANyone have any experience with this knife? My main question is due to the fact it is made out of a file does the friction wear away at the scales rather quickly?

I just checked mine and there does appear to be washers on both sides. He grinds them down anyway, so this wouldn't be a major issue if there weren't any.

If you look on his site he shows one disassembled and it has two washers.

thanks alot how are they for edc?

also could you post a pick of the grip? is it 3 or 4 finger?

I have one. It quickly loosened from tight to perfect, and has stayed that way for a few months. Very light, good grind, and the bottle opener is excellent!

Makes a great back pocket knife.

I got two, one for me and one for my brother on our birthday. His was stolen from the mail before he received it :(

Admittedly I don't carry mine since I like it too much lol. Though if I wanted a more interesting knife for a casual event, I'd probably for it. The leather sheath fits it well. Only thing to keep in mind is that they are made from files and subsequently can rust/tarnish. Mine tarnished a bit where you'd hold it, but it is nothing a bit of polish can't remove.

Here is an in hand pic and another comparing it to a Para Military. Keep in mind that I have pretty skinny fingers. That and I'm not sure if there is any variation on how it makes them. I think I've seen the end ground a bit differently before.

The grip is as big as you want it to be ( one of the good things about going custom) my palm is roughly 3 1/4in so I asked for my handle to be that long - pretty straight forward - they are very light and slim so they carry very well in pocket. Good knives and very affordable!
