Finally found a true grail item for me. Took many many years. Took two hours to hone the chips out as well. Idk if anyone actually keeps a price knife working but I can tell you the razor steel is hard as all hell for this era. It's harder than a Swedish or French blade...

Very cool razor. I just discovered (inherited) an M.Price SanFran knife. It is not chipped, but badly abused while sharpening.
Trying to decide whether to leave it as is or try to make it nice to look at. One of my relatives served in Europe during WWII and had this in a box of memorabilia and personal effects.
No idea how he got it, and no way to find out. It has been sitting in a trunk for at least 50, possibly 75 years. Razor sharp on both sides, probably carried as a weapon during that time.
