I researched and have found zero info about what "stainless" steel Coltellerie Michele Fraraccio use in their knives. Their website seems to be broken or something. I wonder if it's 420, or 440, or maybe something of upper level?

I guess my googling skills declined lately... Big thanks!
I have purchased several of these - I go out of my way to find budget wares not made in China. They are inexpensive and a little on the crude side, but they come very sharp, and I really like them. I’m not sure I would pay more for the premium handle materials, though, just because I’m sure the rest of the knife is the same as the plastic-handled ones.

The two I have are nicely made, good fit and finish, as good or better than any recent Case made folder I've seen recently......Blades centered, good snap, grinds symmetrical, springs flush, no gaps in the handles or frame etc.....
This is the 15cm Duetto model -

Interesting! That does look very nice. The two of mine I kept are very solid, but as I said, a little rough around the edges.

One other one I gave away, but I also had a larger version of the yellow model here which was almost impossible to open, and when I worked the spring trying to loosen it up, the tang ground into a flawed area of the spring and the knife became unusable.

Having said that, I‘m happy to forgive that one flaw, and I would not hesitate to buy another (as a gift - I’m trying not to buy any more knives for myself…).

I have a plastic handle Siciliano and it is just bad. No sharp point from factory, crude, bail is very tight and not moving until you want to scratch covers, and the backspring was rusty inside! Needless to say I would not consider buying that brand again.

Got hold of a couple a few years back and was impressed. Certainly F&F up to or above most CASE some unusual patterns. Here's one with brass bolster, bail and horn. They arrive very sharp, have another that's Shadow and without the bail, now I want to top up with these :)

Love that self portrait of Fallaci. Courageous and brilliant, but terribly flawed in her later years. And the knife looks good, too!! 😸
