I am planning (but nothing is ever set in stone for me) to go to the Chicago Custom Knife Show for the day on Saturday, Sept. 10. Anyone from the West MI area going and have interest in car pooling and splitting gas money? Could make the trip more fun. Just a thought. I tend to be a lone wolf at these sorts of events so I can come and go as I please without having to worry about anyone else, but sometimes it's good to meet other people once in a while, too, and I know there are some knife knerds right here in town. 
On a similar note, anyone who will be there in general want to meet up for a lunch or something? If I can manage it I will try to bring some of my own knives and I'll definitely bring a couple of toys from my collection (although it's nothing to write home about), so maybe some trading or at least some show and tell is in order.
