Mick, are "clipless" G10 scales available for ARs?

I love my AR just like it is. I love it even more without the clip. Is it possible to get a clipside scale for my AR that doesn't have the three clip holes in it? I have a feeling the answer is no, as it looks like the scale is bonded to the Ti slab...

Yes, but you will have to wait a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.
We won't be making more for a few months.
The scale is not connected. You could remove it (or not) and fill the holes with some epoxy with some sort of black **** in it.

L.O. - some specialty hardware stores (and motor parts stores) carry flat black set screws (headless).

Get them the correct size (no, I don't have an AR, so I don't know the size) and drop them in there with a bit of loctite. Should look nice and keep the gunk out of there.

I did a similar thing with a CRK Sebenza, since I didn't want to fork out $31 + shipping for a g*d*mn "clip insert".

Good luck with the black **** or otherwise.

I might just do that. BTW, I like the way you answer questions like this. There are about 12 people in Dallas/Fort Worth that do what I do for a living. Some of the other guys gives very long, fairly technical answers to their customers. I answer questions the way you do. My customers love it...

Speaking of ARs?

Is it a few months before any will be in production again? I've had one on pre-order from a dealer for a while. I didn't know if any will be shipped in the near future. Just curious so I know how much money to hide from the wife while waiting patiently. Thanks.
