I got this little beautiful looking neckknive by mail few days ago. This really caught my eyes when I first saw it on the web. made from 440c and nyloncordwrap with rayskin. overall length is only 4.5inches long. It's my first time purchasing a knive with this kind of handle. The cord looks like it's coated with some kind of glue? and it's hard. I tried rewrapping my Strider's handle but thisone looks kind of different. Anybody know what's on the cord ot make it hard?

yep, epoxy imho.

i like yurcos stuff, gonna have to get one. some of his stuff has really cool grinds.

The Handle is coated with a Marine based Epoxy.It is applied with a small paint brush like the ones used for Watercolors.Wally Hayes demonstrated this method at the Blade Show last year.
