A friend of mine made this for me. Cow bone head, wood handle. He even drove the wedge home on this.

I think its awesome. Uses industrial waxed thread braided for the cord.

That is cool. I made a few of these similar to my combat hawks out of some scrap 1095 that was in the scrap bucket in the shop. They are fully heat treated and cord wrapped through holes and sent them off with kydex sheathes...I had some happy friends that year!....(opened boxes with this one.....) Let me know if you want any elephant ivory...I have a bunch of small pieces....
