Micro-bevel on a Scandi grind?

I was watching some Ray Mears videos on YouTube, and he was demonstrating how he sharpens his knife. At the end of part two, he runs the blade along the edge of a car window, and it doesn't look like he's keeping the bevel flat to the window's edge. Isn't he creating a very small micro-bevel by doing this? I thought the point of Scandi-ground blades was that there was a single change of angle from the spine to the edge.

It's hard to tell if he is keeping the entire bevel on the glass... at least I cannot tell.

I micro bevel my Scandi's with 600 grit and a mousepad.Just takes a couple minutes. I have pretty much eliminated the micro chipping that I experienced in O-1 Scandi's with 0 degree edges.--KV

True, to the edge, flat grinds are fine for wood carving, skinning, etc. but don't hold up well IMHO for general use. Most "scandi" grinds have a micro bevel; years and years of experience in the Nordic countries have shown this is a much more resilient edge.
