Cute little thing.
Measuring just 6" overall. (3" blade and 3" handle)

Stienen German ladder damascus.
Zladinox mokume guard.
Spacers from Camel Bone and Jasper/Gold Trustone
With a small piece of sambar for a handle.

very nice! Interesting as I was just in a discussion here as to what defines a bowie! (What characteristics does a bowie have to have). Looks like hidden tang? No end cap, so curious if antler core is hard, treated on end, or just a nice hard piece. Guard matches blade pattern nice!

I'm not sure what exactly constitutes a bowie. Smarter people than me have debated about that.
But the shaping of this is similar to its much larger cousins. So with lack of a better term that's what I'll identify it with.

The antler is fairly hard with very little sponge material. The little bit at the end has simply been filed up with multiple layers of CA glue to prevent moisture getting in.
 
That is not the one I would bring to a knife fight on the sandbar but it surely is a cute little guy. Not a Bowie, but maybe someday when he grows up.....?
