Here is the finished product from a progression thread I did about a week ago. This knife will be in Chicago.

This knife is forged form 11,520 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in Complex (Complex meaning "W") Radial Pattern Damascus. The blade is 5″ long and the handle is 4 5/8 ” long to give it an overall length of 9 5/8″ long. The handle is of Mammoth Ivory. The fittings are made of 250 layer Star Pattern Damascus and German Silver that has extensive filework in a Vine Pattern on it. There is also an 18K Gold pin in the handle.

Special thanks to my 13 year old brother Caleb Royer who photographed this knife.

Tell me what you think and thanks for looking.

Extremely nice Kyle. Been waiting to see this one.

Lot to like here, but I'm really fond of the shape/contour of the guard.
A single Gold pin is always a nice classy touch. The filework, damascus spacer, outstanding blade steel, handle material, everything adds.

Lot going on here for sure, yet not overdone. If I was forced to find something that I would change it might be to make the blade slightly longer.

Your handles are really coming on and I like that you are now rounding your edges a little.

You have a talented family as the photo is good too. Boy you guys start young.

Nice work Kyle! I work with my brother, too, and it sure makes life better working with family.
Great photo, young fella:thumbup:

VERY nice work Kyle. You've done a great job of matching up your fiework on the spacers. The damascus is superb.
