Micro Folder?

At one point Gerber made a very small, less than 1" folded, knife. Does anyone know where I can get something similar for a PSK. Thanks.

I love the Spyderco Spin etched model. It's very comfortable in hand and has a great blade. Well made, light, beautiful too!

Try one!

AG Russell has its Ultimate Pen Knife, which is a slip joint and also one that is just a little bit bigger that is a back-lock. They are both titanium handle, VG-10 blade folders that are very small and very nice.

I don't know of any knives in the 1" category.

About the smallest folding knife I would find useful and trust is the AG Russell Ultimate Pen Knife. It's 2" closed, but very, very slender and should easily fit into almost any PSK.

Another possibility, the smallest-sized SAKs are 2-14" closed. Not as heavy-duty as the AG Russell knife, but the SAKs can provide a variety of tools, perhaps replacing multiple items already in the PSK.

Happy shopping!

There was the Gerber Micro LST, while small, wasn't quite as small as "less than 1" folded". You might be able to find one still.

Personally, I'm willing to put sub 1" folders into the "too small to be useful" category. Vic alox Classic is about as small as I'm willing to go.

SOG Micron, 1.5" blade, about .125" thick, 420 stainless.

That looks very cool.

Seems comparable in style and function to the Ultimate Pen Knife. The SOG costs less, but as a trade-off the AG Russell has much higher grade materials.

You don't hear much about em' but the Aristocrat Medallion (2" closed) and Legacy (1 1/2" closed) knives are extremely well made little cutters from Seki City. I picked up a couple of the stag medallions and an abalone shell legacy and was extremely pleased with the quality of these knives - fit and finish are excellent and the stag and abalone were top notch. (btw, the medallion knife with quince wood on the left is much smaller than the pic)

The Micron is a good keychain knife, I've had mine for about 2 mo.
Works well for small-knife stuff.
Can be had here for about $10.50 + shipping:

The AGRussell UPK is undoubtedly a better knife, but I didn't have $20 at the time. :)

Pydie ladybug is on heck of a little knife, hear good things about the cricket too. CRKT makes that real little TURTLE thing also

True North Knives has a "TNK" branded Spyderco that's very small, non- locking, for $50. They also have the Nemesis locking folder, which I believe is a 2" blade, for $100. I've handled the Nemesis and it's very nice, especially for the price.

been looking for a tiny folder for keychain, that look very nice....

I had one of those gerbes a while ago and it worked nicely for what it was. The ladybug3 is a great little knife for the money. The stainless version is thinner, so I hear. I keep a vic classic in my mini survival kit. You can remove the plastic handles pretty easily, and it becomes much thinner as well. -I'd like to try a UPK too.

Here is a small one I really like.
Got it quite a few years ago.
