Does any one know if you could use micromesh for sharpening knives??

Micro mesh

Should work...as long as you can buy a fine enough grit.
Most meshes I've seen are pretty coarse (80-100 grit), but maybe they weren't micro-mesh.
Of course, you'll want to use a pull stroke rather than a push stroke...just like stropping.
Let us know how/if it works, and what brand, type, etc mesh you used.

I've bought a set with 9 grits starting from 1500 up to 12000 on Ebay, just waiting till it gets here
