8 3/4'' 9 ounce Mini Micro Bowie by Min Kami. Satial wood handle. $125.

Man that Reti is the prize of the dotd's. The CAK was a deal, but the Reti is something special. I have an 18 inch model that I will never separate myself from. Reti's are the soul of the kukri. They are the files used in the shop and then converted to masterpieces of aged beauty.

Here is a close picture of mine. Just want people to know that they need to jump on these when they become available. They are few and far between.

When you see, jump on them!

Oops, forgot to post this morning. DD on KLVUK! Finally got a second one for myself. Just added it to my list of blades that need pants. It's getting to be a long list.

EMS for Balance

Interested to know how you like it. I have seen a few knives for sale by Nabin Rai, all look very identifiable or unique due to their really heavy curve and extra detail on the blade. Interested to know how it swings

Nzedge,

Auntie has or had several of these Nabin Rai's when I was there last summer. Honestly they feel amazing in hand. First looking at them I thought the handle would not be very comfortable but it's actually quite nice. A good grip.
And with the bend they really swing nice, I of course didn't chop anything, the shed looked right brand new and everything was nice, didn't figure auntie would be too happy with me iffen I went to chopping.

There is quite a pronounced bend which I'm kind of partial too, more so perhaps than some of the Thamars that I love so much.

I think they are really a great little knife and when the planets align and my piggy bank swells up a might, hopefully one will adopt me.
