i didn't see a whole lot of info when i searched micro recon 1, but i only search a wee bit. sorry if it's been asked before.
to make a long story short, i have smallish hands. i've tried small (1 to 1.5" blade) one hand opening knives and not been comfortable with them at all. felt like i was going to lose them. i've never handled a recon 1 in real life, at any size. any smaller folk have any experiences with them you can share? my other concern is the lack of the pocket clip. how do you guys keep it handy? the longer story continues below. feel free to skip it.
i'm looking for a small, sheeple friendly blade i can use at work, but a durable one. i'm pretty rough on my current work knife. i strip rubber coated steel conduit and copper cable and stuff. not often, but often enough that it needs sharpening it a couple times a week. that's getting old. it may also seem a little intimidating to the average factory worker, and it's a piece of crap to boot. about the only thing going for it is the price ($13cdn on sale) and the pocket clip.
