hi its my lastest EDC
I like small size one onze weight strong lock sharp blade
I dislike black coated and sharp pointy handel not very confortable in reverse grip use becouse thesepoint dig in your palm.
Custom my self:
done unpainted blade and backlever, now thw color is like titanium and finish is like stonewash (original finish under the paint).I think knife looks better quality without paint.
undone gring sharp edges I want to think a littel hoe to do ok.

looks great, I just got one of these and was thinking of doing this myself. Did you use a razor to scrape it off or did you use a stripper of some kind?

It looks like he used paint stripper. That takes off the teflon coating pretty easily and leaves the original markings.

OP: Looks great!, I was thinking about picking one up as a keychain knife. What do you think about their new "faux G10"?

hi yes I used paint stripper, was a littel difficult becouse the paint keep on blade but using my nail and metalwool the paint took off easily ;-)

Looks good! I had a mini ak-47 floating around here that I removed the coating with a 16 penny nail as I was awaiting a shipment of shingles at work. It didn't really scuff up the blade at all.

the faux g10 is actually quite nice. its not flimsy like I though it would be.

Detent is excellent on both the micro and the mini Recon I -- absolutely nothing to worry about.
