Micro Tech blade wobble

Just came back from a local knife show. Ended up buying a Tops Sneaky Pete fixed blade. During the show I was actually considering buying another Micro Tech even though the ones I have all have a bit of "blade wobble".

What is the deal with Micro Tech? Every single Micro Tech I handled, at the show, had various degrees of blade wobble. Every single one (including autos and manual versions). Their designs and the overall workmanship seems to be quite good, but I just cannot understand this "blade wobble" trait.

 I have a few manual and auto and the only (slight) wobble I've ever noticed is the OTF UT6.

There is going to be a certain degree of "blade wobble" with any auto, especially the OTF's. Some more than others. You don't want them rock solid or they'd never fire properly.

I've amassed a large gathering of auto's (all Microtech's and customs).

None of my "side-openers" have blade play (if they do. . .you can't detect it with the naked eye).

All of my OTF's have varying degrees of blade play (but ever so slight). . .with the DA OTF's having just a hair more than the SA's.

That slight bit of "blade wobble" doesn't effect their ability to perform as intended. :D

Even manual folders. . .have a slight bit of blade play. Again, the amount varies.

I wouldn't worry about it. . .unless you plan on using them in some form of microscopic surgery. ;)

My Sebenzas, Spyderco ATF, Benchmade Axis locks, Tops Magnums have no side to side movement at all. Some of my Emersons have some movement and some do not. Some of my autos do, but some do not.

I realize that a slight bit of blade wobble does not effect performance. However that is a bit like saying a few rattles in a new car also do not effect the perfomance either.

I just find it to be a bit odd to find every single Mico Tech that I checked yesterday, had more blade wobble than other folders that I inspected. Every single one. Needless to say, I did not buy any more of them.
