Greeetings my fellow Gadget & Gear gurus,

My 10 year old cousin recently asked my for a more grown up watch. I gave him my Citizen Promaster, which I used to wear daily. So now I am looking for another daily driver. As thread title suggests, I am looking for microbrand or boutique brand diver watch, powered by quartz or solar movement, sapphire crystal, priced around $600. Looking forward to your suggestions!!! Thank you!!!

Sorry for the distraction, but a $600 watch for a 10-year old does not pass my filters.
Get a Casio MD106, swap out the band for something nicer, and put $525 in his college fund.

I believe he means since he gave away his watch,he himself is looking for a replacement.

My apologies for bad phrasing. $600 is what I plan on spending to get myself a replacement.

LUM TEC
NFW
Deep Blue
Thank you!!! Lum Tec are quite high on my list! I own Combat B great watch and customer support is exceptional. Lum Tec is releasing new model called Vortex in summer with solar movement, which would fit me perfectly!

I love microbrand watches. I have a Dailos Waveform Titanium diver on the way.

After some online browsing, I contacted my local watch store, most of the time they have something interesting. So I ended up buying new old stock Swatch Scuba SUUJ400 for $95.
