For wiping blades of smudges and finger prints, I am usually using eyeglass cloths (are they made of microfiber?).
Curious to see what the groups preferred cloth is for the same purpose - or is microfiber all the same and it
doesn't make a difference? Or is something else preferred? I tried tuff cloth, but to me it leaves and order on the
knives and what if I use the knife for cutting food after its been wiped with a tuff cloth? I can't imagine that can
be good for you.

I use the microfiber cloth that comes with the Flitz gun/knife care kit, food safe too

Same dishcloth, soap & water I use for dishes at the kitchen sink. Compressed air, mineral oil, water displacements as needed.

Fingerprints, smudges, etc. don't bother me unless I will be cutting food or might cause rust, etc. on a certain steel.

Food knives=mineral oil.

As for microfiber there are many many different varieties, qualities and countries of origin. If you have a Costco near you they sell a package of 36 I believe that are more than reasonable quality for knives.

I like to use microfiber material for wiping my knives off before putting them away. I use the blue cloth that comes with crk knives.

Geneo - you dont find that TC gives the knife an odor? Also - if you wiped it with TC and then EDC the knife and need
to use it later for food and there is no place for you to rinse the knife, then what? I can't imagine what's on the TC to
be good for your digestive system (nor taste buds for that matter).

I don't generally eat with my knives. I kinda like the smell.

My crk cloth removes all prints and streaks that my t shirt or a towel would leave. Leaves a perfectly clean st surface.
