Microfibre cloth for cleaning knives

Is microfibre cloth (picture below) suitable for cleaning knife blades and moving parts of lock mechanisms? I always use microfibre (those clothes that are sold for cleaning electronic devices) just because it gets to any dirt and removes it fast.

Absolutely, they are great for cleaning everything from jewelery, cars, and everything in between
