Microtech A.D.O

The one-piece fixed blades from Chris Reeve are very nice and extremely tough. I've owned a couple and the Shadow IV was my favorite. The Aviator was nice but I wasn't too big a fan of the saw back but it was still a tank of a knife. While some might argue that they are fairly expensive for such a simple design, you really have to own one to appreciate the quality of them.

Any real reasons? I've bought from others and I've heard okay things on Microtech and it's something I couldn't make myself so I thought it was interesting.

yep, they have ripped off peoples designs in the past, the most famous being the ZT0777...

The main reason for wanting it is the hollow handle which seems sturdy for the design, the sleekness, and the fact I doubt I could afford a Chris Reeve xD

The ADO is small and I wouldn't doubt that you can find a Reeve cheaper than a Microtech custom. Tony Marfione is a jackhole and I refuse to support him or his knives anymore.

Any idea when this all went down? And my limit is 250 so if I could find the chris reeve under that I definitely would.

Search is your friend. Rather than dragging this all out in the forums and turning this thread into a vortex of idiocy, you could use your favorite search engine or the forum search feature.

Their quality and reliability is very bad for the price, and they don't help the customer if something is wrong with their knives. You might find some good reviews about Microtechs from 10 years ago, but you'd be throwing your money away to buy one now.

Thank you. The pleasant attitude was much more appreciated. :P I'm just going to try an Emerson out instead. Thanks.
