I have been abusing microtechs for many years. 154-cm seems to hold up good. Deburing parts in my machine shop and pouding the crap out of them. carryed them in the marine corps for years. But know i am looking for a new fixed blade and am looking at a busse,strider or a microtech. I just wish diffrent models were avaible in a busse. Any suggestions or opinions.

I would use a cheap pos to debur parts in my machine shop. Poor microtechs. They probably look like toothpicks now
Get yourself a spyderco ZDP steel folder at an Rc of 67 and you can debur all day long, or maybe 440V.

I use to cary spiderco police mod and millitary . They are ok but clips bend and aint even close to microtech in qual and yea I have a socom sharpened past the serations. But it took 5 years. Microtech folders will last and wont get lose very good knives. Very good company.

If you do some searches on them in the forums you should come up with quit a bit of info.
I personally picked up a SS4 just got it today so I haven't got to using it hard yet, but I'll tell you it's built like a tank and I'm confident it will take every thing I toss at it and want more.
And you can't beat the warranty.:thumbup:
