Microtech Amphibian Green 2001

I recently found this knife at a gunshow and would love some help trying to get a feel for the value of this thing? I am not very knowledgeable and am having a hard time getting much in the way of info about this specific knife. If what I am reading is correct, then it's an early model 2001 maybe a prototype. I like the knife and would like to know more.

Not a Prototype me thinks.. Have you tried checking some like auctions on eBay to see what they went for??. That's the method I use and its a sure fired way to determine value in the current market.



Edit to add: One of my knife-knut buddy's just stated that he sold the same knife in 2010 on another knife forum for 275. shipped.. Perhaps that helps you.

I have no interest in selling it, but the info sure helps. I think I will carry it for a year or so.

I have a 2000 plain edge one, not a prototype. It did not sell well because it was supposed to be titanium and aluminum was used. In the Hannibal Lector novel, it is the knife Agent Starling carried. Lector carried a G10 Harpy.
