I got my second Microtech yesterday and couldn’t be happier It’s an Amphibian Signature Series with fluted carbon fiber handles and a DLC coated blade of MK390 steel and a ram lock, which is ostensibly a cross bar lock with a coil spring instead of an omega spring
I paid $340 for it including shipping and consider myself lucky because when I’ve seen them and other vendors they’ve been much more expensive. I like the fact that it’s blacked out and has minimal billboarding. The action is great and the blade is razor sharp. No blade play, but I did have to loosen the pivot a little as it was a bit stiff to reverse flick.
I only have two Microtechs in my collection the other being my Combat Troodon Gen 3. I’m a little bit over a budget right now but I had to jump. All in all I am very happy with the brand. I understand what people. See in it for value.
