Hey guys how are yah

I just wanted to ask you that the new microtech assailant knife is it a copy from a previous design by another maker. I am not sure regarding the history or any sort of affiliations at all by the makers. Just want to find out, and appreciate the help.

take care

perhaps MT flipped the photocopy over and then started grinding? It has been discussed before and it is obvious to me and many others!

I cannot see how many ways one can make a Ti credit card design, but oh well. They all seem to feed off of each other. ( the knife as a whole is indeed one rip off of another ripped of design more or less over time )

Sure they are very similar, but on the other hand so are many other knives. Can you say what company has made every single model of Bowie for instance?

It's that kind of business, and I don't hold it against Microtech.

About every shape of knife imagineable has been made by someone at some point in time. That makes every single new model a rip off if you want to look at it that way. If you want a knife to be the size and shape of a credit card, how many options do you have?

out of 20 credit card blades I have seen, they all loook the same. You are very restricted in your shape whn you have to fit in a small rectangle. Not to mention MR. Blackwood hasnt taken orders for even high dollar knives in years, so you really cant fault production companies for picking up the slack on a popular product thats no longer available.

hey guys how are yah

Well i am basically a novice within the knife community, and therefore i thought a custom meant a new design and the very first of it's kind. I apologize for my ignorance, but i just do not understand how another maker can copy something to be so exact and still get away with it. anyways i do appreciate the help

take care
