To those of you who has a Microtech/Bastinelli karambit 215-10APS (Apocalyptic Stonewash finish), I have several questions concerning its specs.
1. What is its overall length?
2. What is its blade length?
3. Did Microtech manufacture 215-10APS in two (or more) different sizes?
4. What is the blade material? M390? D2? Is it written anywhere, either on the knife itself or in the accompanying document(s), on just what material the knife is made of?
Depending on the website/vendor, you will see different numbers listed. Some list the overall length as 7.25", others 6.125".
Similarly, depending on the vendor, Blade Length is listed as 3.00", 2.25", or 1.875". It's almost as if there are at least two different sizes!
If these are available in different sizes, why do they all have the same model number?
Same model number suggests this particular design was made in only one size, which implies the vendors were sloppy with their measurements. Were they?
Just trying to get the correct answers to these many perplexing questions surrounding Microtech/Bastinelli 215-10APS:
