Microtech bronze blade finish

Curious how well this holds up, is this a coating more like dlc, or an anodization? How robust is it? Considering the new Makora in this finish. Thanks for the info!
 
I'm not really sure, tbh. I haven't worn mine to any appreciable degree. I've had a Combat Troodon with the bronze finish for 4 months. I EDC it bit don't cut much more than boxes with it. However, I have seen no more applicable were than any others. It certainly feels tougher than their black paint on my Ultratech, but that has held up just fine for the last couple of years.
 
It’s a pretty finish for sure, but I’d like this as a user (celebrating Virginia finally coming to its senses on auto carry, thanks Glenn!!). Curious if anyones done some serious cutting with these. Leaning towards the stonewashed but love the look of the bronze.
 
I have a bronze apocalyptic blade. The apocalyptic is kind of a coarse stone wash, so it hides wear well and seems to be holding up great so far.

IDK how the non-apocalyptic finish holds up.
