Anyone know where to get a Microtech catalog? I'm looking for a really good auto knife, whats their best?

Maybe best place to order a microtech from?

I don't think they have a catalog so let me think a bit.
Ums,mini socom elite not out yet, scarub, new models
plenty of older models lcc, l-udt, udt, hallo II , ultratech , amphiban , mini socom , socom elite, hawk

The new Ums is a good all around knive and the lcc d/a is also a really nice knive.Realy hard to say wich one is the best because they are all great knives.

bang for your $ is the lcc for $200.00

I don't want to discuss dealers except that you can look over in dealers for sale fourm in the knife exchange or do a search on the web.
www.2thehilt.com is a dealer here on the fourm and he's a good guy to deal with.

As far as I know, they don't have a catalog. I would love to see them come out with one and keep certain of the "mainstays" in the lineup around for a year or two at least (like the Socom Elite). They tend to introduce a model and then drop it a few months later and then re-introduce it a year or so later. Their marketing practices totally befuddle me. Also, the MT website is pathetically overdue for an update.

That said, their products are top rate as far as QC, materials and design. I have a number of MTs, ---the LCC, Socom Elite, Amphibian, and Tachyon, and I would compare them favorably with just about anything out there. I just wish they could stick with a few of their better sellers for a bit of time. (They seem to have stayed with the LCC for now, which is refreshing)

As for dealers--just look to the top of the page and click on it.

Good luck.:)

:( Nope, not anymore. Word is that the last of the LCC's have left the factory and they will no longer be made.

Lets hope the 5th Generation LCC models are priced as fair as the 4th were :D

Nothing can compare with Gen.1---Ti bolsters and online dealer prices as low as $139.95. It represented one of the best buys in knifedom.

I would have loved to get in on those deals. But you know Microtech will never lower there prices if they come out with another run. I just hope there prices on there D/A Terzoula come down a bit. $200 would be great, but I doubt we will ever see them going any lower than $400, IF we are lucky

I heard that they were getting killed financially by those intitial prices. I was lucky enough to get in quickly. You are right. Deals like that are not going to be around again anytime soon.:(
