Hi all,
I've got a Microtech CMTX-5 Manual in like-new condition. I bought it to be a user, but I could never bring myself to cut with it. Comes in its box, with all accessories (sheath and papers). I don't have a camera, so I'll try to be as exact as I can with the description. Along the edge of the liners, right behind the thumbstubs in the open position, there is a small machining mark. Other than that, the knife is perfect.
Stats:
Satin finished, plain-edge blade (Absolutely perfect grinds)
Number 426
Green canvas micarta handles
Microtech's proprietary pivot and handle screws (the clip screw is a normal Torx)
The Bonus:
I'll include two Burn Knives wrenches for the Microtech knives. This will allow you to mess with the pivot, tighten the scale screws if they come loose, etc. These are sold for $15 each. Also, I'll include a crude (but effective) cover plate for the gap left by the clip if you choose to take it off. I made it from a piece of sheet aluminum, and fire-blackened it. Like I said, crude, but essential if you want to remove the clip.
The price is $165 shipped by Priority Mail within the US. I'll take most forms of payment - I need the money, however, so I'll give a 5 dollar discount if you pay by PayPal ASAP. Please contact me or post here if you have any questions! Thanks for looking!
(Full disclosure fine print: I'm trying to sell this knife in order to make my rent this month. I'll happily return your money if you're not satisfied, but I'll have to pay you back after the 15th, when I get my paycheck. My rent is due before the 15th. Isn't life a bitch?
