Any feedback? This totally caught my eye with S30V blade, carbon fiber handles and ti liners. I'd take a double action auto but just want to know more about the quality of the lock. Especially compared to benchmade axis.

Thx

My buddy has one. It's a very nice knife (his has Micarta handles). Don't worry about the lock, the liner is thick and strong. If you want a cheaper but well made version in AUS-8A, try looking at the Timberline Vallaton. It can be found in manual action or as an auto conversion.

I've owned both versions, the D/A and the M/A. Had the green micarta scales on both. The M/A was excellant but a little sharp at the heel of the micarta. Never did anything anything about it and sold it. Don't even know why. The D/A I had sucked with lots of blade play. MT fixed it but took about 10 wks to get it back. I prefer the M/A. Plain and simple as that. keepem sharp
