Microtech Combat Troodon

Hey i'm interested in buying a Microtech Combat Troodon and i have a few questions. what do you think of it as a knife? how good is it for EDC/SD? where could i get one, i am in the uk, and as you all know, self defense of any kind in the uk is illegal. how would i go about getting one shipped to me? Also, what do you think of the Microtech Vector, Which is available in the uk? What is your opinion of Spyderco Knives?

Asking how to circumvent the law is not a good idea on a public forum. Automatic knives are not legal period in the UK.

golden creature, I defiantly feel your pain about the gun/knife laws in the UK. They are totally ridiculous and leave good, law-abiding citizens defenseless. It’s the first step down a long, slippery-slope that ends in socialism.

But anyway, all that is beside the point and off topic.

Since you mentioned Spyderco, I would stick with them. They make a UK-specific pen knife that looks great. It was made with the sole purpose of adhering to UK knife laws. Check it out.

I'd avoid the OTF Microtechs as SD knives. They have a tendency to jam up/ not open everytime.
