We got one of these little guys in today with a few of the autos from Microtech and I was wondering if anyone has used this fixed blade by microtech? I loved the way it feels and was wondering if they are pretty solid blades for EDC.

D2 is a good steel, the sheath is well thought out...but MT in general turns people off. I had one in tanto, and tried to sell it...it wa slike giving away your baby.

no one else thinks it ( the baby ) is as great/handsome/smart/awesome as YOU do!

I would like to see someone use one too

oh well

nothing new in the MT drama saga

MT quality is always outstanding. This is the only company offers such a thin edge 3/128" for this kind of knife - it is thiner than many small folders has. Almost twice thiner then everybody else - which makes it sharper and easier to resharpen. On my sharpness test it slightly outperforms Spyderco Military BG42 which was absolute champ before. I am just recently was able to sharpen knife to sharpness better then Currahhe out of the box.

On my opinion this is the best in this class knife even without that super-sharpness. Can not say anything about reselling value, but for everything else it cost any bit of asked price, which is high.

This is mine:

Thanks, Vassili.

It has a good review in the current Tactical Knives magazine. From the reveiw it looks like a knife I might like to have.
