How do I send my auto Microtech mini SOCOM elite back to get serviced for blade play? Do I send it back to them with a card explaining what the problem is or what?

and get a customer service number for the return. Then when you return the knife don't forget to include the return number and a description of the problem.
 
If it's an auto, you may have to go thru a Microtech dealer, due to certain Gov't. regulations...
 
Whether or not you send it in yourself is up to you (ie: your choice to break the law). To have it sent back to you, you either need active military or LE credentials. Otherwise, it'll have to be sent back to an authorized dealer. If autos are illegal for transfer (not just sales) in your state, finding a dealer willing to help you might be difficult.
